Welcome to the Grotto!

Greetings, traveler; you've found The Grotto, listen to the bats above rustling about the stalactites and the water dripping and gurgling in the pools. The walls of The Grotto sparkle with moisture and quartz, lit softly by the scattered candles. The air is perfumed by the scent of bergamont and chamomile, and the sounds of Bauhaus' Bela Lugosi's Dead echo through the cavern. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Here in The Grotto you'll discover some of my interests and hobbies, art, crochet, gardening, sewing, music, books, movies, shows. I would like to let visitors know that this site is run by an adult, and though i don't have any nsfw on the site i don't shy away from discussing mature topics.

If you want to follow me on social media i do have a tumblr, linked in the navbar under 'blog'. I don't really use any other social media sites.

"The slogan 'refuse, reduce, reuse, repair and recycle' provides us with a hierarchy of strategies for dealing with waste. Refuse means to decide not to engage in the consuming action or task in the first place because it is not necessary. Reduce means to minimize the materials and energy required or the frequency of the consuming action. Reuse means either reuse for the same purpose or put to the next best use. Repair means to use skill and very limited additional resources to restore function. Recycle means to break down into more basic elements or materials before being reprocessed for the same or other uses."
