Re-discovering My Passion For Art
So I've been in a slump. For a while.
So let's do a run-down of the timeline.
- Middle School: Begin drawing seriously, I get my first sketchbook. I desperately want to be a fashion designer
- High school: Lose interest in fashion (albeit temporarily), start drawing superwholock fanart (yes I'm deadass), eventually get a job :D
- Graduate High School: Continue drawing, don't go to college cause *broke* and don't want to go into debt for the forseeable future, lose my job :/
- 2019-2021: Get job! start working 40-60hrs a week for far less than I deserved, basically stop drawing due to lack of time
- Get pregnant, lose job due to intense morning sickness, get severely depressed, get another job that payed more, give birth at end of 2021 and then have intense post-partum depression
- 2024: Buy house with partner, depression slowly begins to lift, start drawing more
But ultimately, I just need to rediscover my passion. In high School, it was drawing fanart; but now? I don't really have a direction. I'm planning on redesigning my OCs I created in High School, maybe making more? I have vague ideas of a storyline/worldbuilding for... something? Maybe a comic?
